The Finer Details

Uncover everything you need to know about your experience at My Pilates Aura, with answers to our most frequently asked questions.

Reformer Pilates is a form of exercise performed on a specially designed machine called a reformer. Using springs and adjustable resistance, it combines controlled movements to strengthen the body, improve flexibility, balance and posture.

We recommend our Essentials class, which introduces you to Pilates through controlled movements, alignment and technique. Our instructors will guide you through each exercise, helping you become familiar with the reformer while enjoying a balanced workout.

We recommend arriving 10 minutes before your scheduled class, particularly if it’s your first visit. This gives you time to settle in, meet your instructor and prepare for your session.

All classes can be booked online through Momence, our booking platform. Simply follow the booking link on our website, choose your preferred class and time, and complete your booking.

Wear whatever you feel comfortable in. Grip socks are required for all classes and are available to purchase at the studio.

Each Reformer Pilates class lasts approximately 50 minutes, allowing time for a balanced workout with guidance from your instructor throughout.

We operate a 24-hour cancellation policy. Classes can be cancelled or rescheduled up to 24 hours before the scheduled start time. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the class will result in the loss of your payment or class credit.
